What can I do when I am craving food when I am on a diet ?

I am an emotional eater and I eat a lot when I am sad or bored …but recently I started to diet to be able to lose weight before my wedding …how can I stop my self from eating when I am in stress of preparing my wedding …and I am the type who gets all crappy and grumpy when I am on a diet …my fiance is really sweet and I don’t want to lose him with all my bad temper :(

    no matter how much of an urge you get!! as you go near the kitchen think of something else to do and turn around and go back. just keep doing that or while going ot he kitchen just force yourself to turn around and go outside to your backyard

    my life is the saem especially w/summer vac. so i am gonna gain a lot but i am trying to keep my self busy i am 11 and i weigh 93 i really have to lose weight even thought the doctor says considereing my height (5′1″) i am perfectly fine but i still have a tiny stomach but oh well

    try to prepare for the wedding prep. which require time
    when you eat make sure that you have a heavy breakfast/lunch/dinner and eat super slow without reading or wathcing tv then soon you wont feel like eating

    When i had cravings i drank a large 8oz glass of water then your kinda water bloated and you don’t have the cravings also if your not a huge water drinker then have a big glass of water and add one of the 5 cal drink mixes in its tastes like good juice or ice tea that always calms my cravings! good luck and congrats on the wedding

    Lose weight now – Stay slim forever

    if you are an emotional eater i would recommend decreasing the amount of food you eat per meal, but increase the number of meals.

    Ex: eat a regular breakfast, when you eat lunch spread it out instead of eating it all at once, but stick to your diet. Same with dinner try to eat small portions with more meals. Try for about 7 ish meals a day.

    And remember the key to losing weight is diet in combination with exercise.

    or drink water then eat a little so you feel full
