is it healthy to workout while beeing sick?

justflip8 asked:

I have a really bad cold and sinus problems but i dont really

have a bad headache. So i wonder if it’s okay to do pushups

and situps once in a while, no benchpressing or squatting.

Just to keep myself fit.

When you’re sick your body needs time to recooperate. So the answer is NO!! Along with this sick people should NOTworkout at the gym and risk getting other people sick from using the equipment!!

    Metabolism and Your Weight

When you exercise, your body burns off energy. You need that energy being used to help fight of the cold. DON’T workout if you want to get better. You workout, the flu can get your body easier. Just rest and take vit. C and stuff. You know-recover, don’t run.
