    Losing weight without starving yourself

2 lbs a week is not very good. The safe rate is about 1lb per week. The best thing i could think of to lose weight in the heat is to swim. you can swim laps in a pool. That and eating well can help you bigtime. But becareful, don’t overdo yourself.

Eat healthy, low fat foods – reduce your calories while on your workout routine. You don’t need equipment to exercise. You can use cans or jars of food to do light weightlifting. Lunges, sit ups, push ups, yoga…none of these things require special equipment. Go swimming. If you can get to a library, check out some exercise books to mix it up.

Its workout that you do in your room for 15 min. It might help you. Also cleaning your house burns a lot of calories and will make your parents happy. If you have a pet walk it. If not then get a friend to come over and go for a walk around your neighbor hood.

    Good luck

    Slim down – remove fat

three sets of 50 crounches and in the middle of those put in a set of 15-20 push ups. Jump roping can help, ’bout 15-30 minutes, and can’t u do anything at like 7:30 outside like soccer or anything. Another thing that might help is lunges. Got any weights, if so, use those. Got any stairs? Run up those about 10 times a day. Why don’t u swim also. If it hot, go swim some laps.

Well, in Singapore where I live, almost touching the Equator, it’s even hotter and more humid than Florida. So I do all my workout in the evening or night.

Running is the quickest way to lose calories. You can increase your calorie loss by running uphill or running faster. If you can run 10km (6 miles) nonstop in slightly over an hour (roughly 65 minutes), you are actually losing 1,000 calories, which is about 2 lbs of body weight loss. Try it — weigh yourself before the run, and after.

Also, drink only pure water — no sugared drink. If you need to snack on something refreshing, eat only fresh fruits. For food, stick to plant food and white meat (chicken and fish), no red meat and no processed meat (sausages).

In Asia where there are millions of Buddhists, we eat only 2 meals a day, and we don’t eat solid food after mid-day. And we have hardly any overweight problem.

The number of calories you burn depends on your weight…most of the calories burned per exercise activity are based on a 150 lb. person…for example, a 150 lb. person is said to burn 100 calories for every mile run, so he/she can burn 1000 calories by running 10 miles. A 75 lb. person, on the other hand, would only burn 50 calories/mile and would have to run 20 miles/day to burn 1000 extra calories. That said, I think you may want to add a diet component to your routine, focus on lifestyle changes rather than a quick fix. Stay away from processed foods as much as possible…I find it easiest to lose weight when I eat several small meals a day (like toast b/f my morning workout w/ coffee, oatmeal w/ a tbs of PB mid-morning, salad and tuna for lunch, an apple and cheese for a snack, and a reasonable dinner of lean meat & steamed veggies for dinner)…try to stay away from diet soda, too…they make you crave sweets b/c your body wants the sugar it’s not getting from the soda…I’ve heard green tea is really good for you & can keep you from getting caffeine w/drawals

As far as diet and exercise are concerned…try to do an hour of cardio a day (running, walking, biking, swimming, if you’re into cheerleading/dance, make up a routine with a friend, etc.) w/ strength training (free weights-so you don’t get bulky, yoga, pilates) three-four times per week…I like to do all of this in the morning as part of my regular routine…that way, you can just do whatever for the rest of the day…I wouldn’t try to do two hours of cardio a day when you’re just starting out…this will likely make you burned out, tired and/or injured…also, try to workout w/ friends…they can be great motivators!!

Also, there will be days when you wake up and don’t feel like working out…just do it anyway! After a while, you will b/c addicted to working out…lol!! And remember-if working out/eating healthy were easy, everyone would be super fit!!

    Good luck!!!

Do not eat sugar, cut down your salt, don’t add any to your food there is enough in it already, only it one helping of food at dinner, one sandwich at lunch, and always eat a small breakfast, but if you eat big at a meal make it breakfast not dinner. Then do simple things like, don’t use the remote get up and down to change channels, walk up and down any stairs in the house, if you get an urge to run around your house just do it. Start looking at yourself a lot in the mirror, and when you don’t like what you see, remember that image when you go to eat. Take a multi-vitamin. Train yourself to just want to be looking nice for you, not for anyone else. Like yourself a lot because you cannot look good if you don’t feel good. A lot of it is a mind set. Don’t get disappointed in yourself. This will work. Veggies and fruits, no fried stuff at all. Have fun
