if you’re exercising a lot, 1200 should be fine. if you miss a few days of exercise, you can probably go down to 1000? i think everyones bodies react differently to working out/cutting calories, so try different things and see what works for you.

Don’t count your calories!!!!!!!!! Eat atleast 2000 calories a day. Avoid junk/fast food. Eat good meals, don’t eat a lot of fruits (sugar), eat a lof ot veggies, protien, and work out 3-4 hours a week. I repeat, never count your calories!!!!!! Never!!!!!
Just trying to help, I am on a diet too. Good luck

    Lose weight, Lose Fat

1200 is the lowest recommended per day but if you are working out really hard you may well need to eat more. Ideally what you are trying to do is stay in a range where you are eating between 500 and 1000 calories a day less then you are burning (both though exercise and general living). Then you’re body will start to burn fat reserves without believing it’s in a famine situation. If your body goes into what is sometimes called starvation mode, your metabolism will slow down and you’ll actually find it harder to loose weight. You can work out the correct calories you should be eating by calculating your BMR and adding your calories lost to exercise.

    Need to lose weight?

How much is a ton? Something tells me the world will not come to an end if you don’t meet your 5 week weight loss goal. Weight loss is a long term proposition that cannot be rushed. You lose by creating a caloric deficit through a balance combination of exercise and diet. Take either to the extreme and you are going to run into problems. Generally, a 500 calorie per day deficit is what you should work toward- no more than 700. That’s cutting out 350 and burning 350.

    Exercise and Weight Loss

Calories don’t really matter if you eat the right calories. If you can muster it, do a mostly vegetable diet and I guarantee you will lose weight very quickly. Of course 130 is nowhere near overweight, but if you’re trying to lose a few pounds I would recommend just eating sheer vegetables (and a few proteins and grains).

DON’T go below your BMR…that is the basic amount your body needs in order for all your organs to function properly. Almost everyone gets BMR and RMR confused. Your RMR is your resting metabolic rate and, to lose weight, you should ideally be consuming enough calories between the two.

    Fastest Way to Lose Weight

Hey im 15 male, run track 6 days a week and have never needed to consider weight but my girlfriend/friendgirls always ask me about weight advise cuz im kinda way to into nutrition and fitness but anyway.

Dont cut your calories to low because ive been told by a nutritionist that when you cut calories as low as 1000 like you plan and exercise intensely on top of that, your body’s metabolism actually slows down and when you do eat those fatty foods your body will react to them by storing as much of the food as fat as it can because your body denying is being denied of the right amount of calories it needs to do that kind of exercise.

If you rly wanna lose weight you should ( and wow does this sound stupid but it rly works according to all the girls who i told to do it and actually followed through ) eat special K every morning in place of breakfast, if your skipping breakfast your not helping yourself lose weight because come lunch time your gonna be rly hungry and grouchy + you will tend then to stuff yourself, if you eat breakfast you will be less hungry later on ( duhh ) the girls who have done this generally have lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks alone without exercise.

just stick to the treadmill 30 minutes a day and keep your calorie intake at 1200, trust me you will be fit and have lost the weight you need in 5 weeks. ( i have no idea whats in 5 weeks O.0 )

Oh and lastly you will do fine be cause all girls with cute hair lose weight faster ( i made that up haha but anyways sweet hair! )

    PEACE

    * oh shit, i forgot another important thing. Go low glycemic, it will help a lot in terms of losing weight and steady energy. You can google low glycemic foods and find what break down slower or faster, but for instance white bread is 100 on the GI scale and whole wheat is 45. If your rly serious you might just cut out carbs from starches and do all whole grains, i cant think of any off the top of my head but maybe you can get your parents to by you some whole grain stuffz to munch on. Idk how hard it is for you to do but try not drinking soda, and fruit juices, theyre high glycemic and loaded with sugar which just turns to carbs and fat.

    Want to lose weight?

I’m a guy, so I don’t know if this will help you, but i’m 6′4 and my recommended daily intake is somewhere aroun 22-2300 calories per day. These days i eat around 1000-1200 calories, weight train, and go for runs every day.

Since I started doin this the weight has just disappeared. Now I almost have abs(almost), and look pretty buff (not disgustingly thin, or sick). From my experience, I would say, screw what everyone says. If you eat low calories only, then yes, your metabolism will slow down and youll have a tough time getting rid of the pounds. But, if you exercise a lot and eat low calories, the weight can only come off, and in a healthy way, too(if you have fat on you).

Still, like I said, i’m a guy and I have been putting on muscle while losing weight, I don’t know if it’s healthy for a chick to lose so much weight…going by your stats, you seem like a little girl already, and if your pic is anything to go by, you’re definitely cute, but meh, what do I know? People used to say I was skinny when I had a body fat % of 22-23(for a guy thats horrendous) so I think you’ve just got to do what you want to do.

Anyway, I say you’re eating right at 1000 calories, keep exercising (a lot of cardio….you better be running) and good luck!

    Metabolism and Your Weight

You still have 5 weeks, if you really can stick to 1200 a day and keep exercising you will lose the weight quickly enough. Problem with only eating 1000 is you will probably be hungry since the exercise is burning up all the food, and it might make you binge if there is something good around… At least I know thats what happens if I restrict too much! (below 1100 ish). If you are having an off day and not exercising then 1000 wouldn’t be terrible.

that’s really dangerous, don’t you go lower than 1400, you can still lose fat from you cardio just do interval cardio 2 times a day for 20 min, do not eat carbs after 3 p.m, and eat ONLY broccoli, whole grain oatmeal and apples as your daily carb intake. And of course water tons of it, 2 to 3 lits. per day or more if necessary. Stop all salt and sugar… and you’ll see great results

Now if you wanna go a step farther, I am getting amazing results with this new weight loss pill. It’s a pharmaceutically manufactured miracle formula that surpasses the original Phentermine in both performance and safety.
Not only does it work the way it’s supposed to, but you don’t need a prescription!
