Are homemade pizza’s really worth the time? I on a diet?

janicekristy asked:

I am on a diet and I was wondering if homemade pizza’s are worth making. I wanted to know if anyone has ever made a homemade pizza (healthy) and was it good? If you have the time can you tell me what you put on the pizza thats is different from the basic tomatoes sauce, sausages, pepperoni ingredients. Thanks.

    Slim down – remove fat

It is healthier. You don’t use all the grease. No, you don’t have to put anything different on it. My family was on a diet, we ate homemade pizza all the time. So all that’s different is the amount of grease.

i have made a wheat pizza before with low fat cheeses and spinach leaves, or tomatoes. or you can look in the store and they have organic pizzas that are made with ingredients that are not full of all the unhealthy things.

    Metabolism and Your Weight

Yes they are definitely worth the time. I made one last week that was both healthy and delicious.

    This is what you need:

    Dijorno pizza crust
    Marinara sauce
    Mozzarella Cheese
    Red & Green peppers
    Tomatoes
    Mushrooms

Spread the Marinara sauce evenly over the pizza crust, then spread the cheese on top. Add as many vegetables as you want, but be sure to avoid Pepperoni and Sausage. If you want meat on your pizza, I would suggest chicken. Bake in the oven and enjoy!
