Is it healthy to workout everyday while pregnant like Jessica Alba is doing?

I am going crazy. I am reading that Jessica Alba works out everyday and she is pregnant.

Is this ok? healthy? It says that she works out for an hour everyday.

Need to lose weight?

    Yes it is health, but you must listen to your own body. If your feeling like the workout is too much…cut it back some.

    You should be fine but would talk with your doctor first. So you don’t over do it because that would put you in early labor. But it ok and healthy for you and doctor would tell you want you can’t not do. I did some good walking with both of my pregnancy..

    light exercizes won’t hurt but in my opinion it’s not necessary and shouldn’t be done just in case of risks. since she’s a celebrity I kinda understand but for anyone else I would recommend just relax these 9 months and worry about your baby now and worry about your weight later.

    It’s fine to do if you were doing it before. You should never start working out during pregnancy but it’s fine to maintain a routine established before. Naturally modifications are made when pregnant but over all it’s fine.

    Is Jessica Alba pregnant? Wow, I didn’t know that!
    But yes, it’s good to do excercise when pregnant. But if you are not used to doing extreme workouts, it’s best not to start while you’re pregnant. Brisk walks should be enough to keep you healthy for the baby.

    Its healthy yes, but…..

    If you didn;t work out daily proir to getting pregnant it could be too much for your body. Keep in mind that Jessica Alba is “in the public eye” and there for worked out daily just to maintain, so for her it is the norm.

    If you did work out daily prior to getting pregnant then before doing too much discuss with your doc. Some find that just modifying the workout is good enough. As your pregnancy progresses you will contunue to make modifications to your workout to accomodate your growing belly.

    Its ok to work out…so long as you were doing it before. Further along she gets the more she may need to alter her work out a bit….like no sit ups, no heavy weight training, ease up on the jogging. But walking, low impact arrobics, yoga, swimming are great when you are PG.

    Why would what a celebrity does make you crazy?

    Many activities that you participated in pre-pregnancy are still suitable during pregnancy.

    It is not recommended that you suddenly take up extreme weightlifting, marathons or horse back riding.

    But in the absents of any adverse health conditions, continuing to exercise is very good for you and your baby. Walking, light jogging, light weights, yoga, are all good and safe forms of exercise while pregnant.

    exercising while pregnant is both safe and encouraged as long as you are not having complications in your pregnancy. Although some dr.’s advise that if you do a ALOT of exercising that you cut back to 70% of your usually workout. It’s especially ok in the first and second trimester when it’s still comfortable to work out!

    yes its okay to work out everyday as long as you are doing safe exercises… and making sure your heart-rate doesn’t get to high ,, so low to moderate exercise everyday is fine
